Serving Allendale has been one of the greatest honors of my life and I truly love being your mayor! My hands on experience on the Borough Council was extremely important for this role, from managing municipal budgets, negotiating labor contracts, to securing millions of dollars in grants. As a councilwoman and then Mayor, I have immersed myself in almost every aspect of the Borough.

Some accomplishments include:
Maintain Responsible Budgets
Maintained fiscal discipline, achieving an average municipal tax increase of less than 1% for over 5 years. Demonstrating
a balance between responsible spending and strategic investment.
Grant Writer
Became the grant writer for the Borough, applying for countless available grants, securing millions in grants including downtown revitalization, playgrounds, bandshell, community center and more saving residents thousands in taxes.
Land Use Planning
Led the development of a comprehensive master plan that prioritizes smart growth while preserving the unique character of our residential neighborhoods and green spaces for future generations.
Technology Driven
Modernized Borough operations by implementing Microsoft Teams plus established a digital file structure for records management. Also, implemented a platform to streamline permits and licensing for resident.
Fair Share Housing
Negotiated a responsible Fair Share Housing settlement that protects the unique character of Allendale with NO new building required in the 4th round. PLUS, our 3rd round is fully built out.
Together, the Council and I have strengthened Allendale's financial position, protected our community through a responsible Fair Share Housing settlement, invested in important infrastructure, and always made decisions based on what's best for Allendale, not special interests or political agendas.
Allendale is such a wonderful community, and I am proud of everything we have accomplished, and as we look ahead, the challenges facing our town are becoming increasingly complex. Many of the issues we face do not have simple solutions. They require experience, thoughtful decision-making, strong relationships, and a deep understanding of how local government works. The ability to look beyond today and plan for tomorrow is essential.
Allendale deserves experienced leadership that delivers results,
not just good intentions.
The stakes are simply too high to risk otherwise. I have worked very hard to keep Allendale moving forward while keeping our municipal government efficient, our finances strong, and our taxes under control. In addition, I spearheaded the mural project and downtown revitalization to keep Allendale beautiful.
I am enthusiastically running for a second term as Mayor. I respectfully ask for your support.
I am also proud to support the election of my running mates, David Rahal and Donald McKenna for Allendale Council. They are new faces to the Council! Both are independent thinkers who bring strong business experience, fresh ideas, and new perspectives. Most importantly, they are hardworking, thoughtful individuals who genuinely care about Allendale and are committed to its future.
I have enjoyed working with them both tremendously these past months, bringing them up to speed on the complexities of town government. I look forward to working with David, Donald, and the entire Council as we continue building on our progress and addressing the challenges ahead.
Together, we can keep Allendale strong, vibrant, and a wonderful place to call home.
